PGA WEST's private membership courses are Citrus, Nicklaus Private, Weiskopf Private, and Palmer Private. The Club at PGA WEST is a different front door. If you are shopping Citrus real estate, ask which club, which category, and which courses, in that order. Old Town La Quinta and the resort campus are a short drive. Coral Mountain is the wall. Alice Dye's name on the card matters here: this is one of the valley courses where her work is part of the published credit, not a footnote. For buyers coming from Stadium or Mountain, the tree cover and citrus rows are the adjustment: less desert theater, more parkland Dye, still Pete Dye on the card. Ask the golf shop for the current scorecard before you compare it to Stadium on yardage alone.
