Development Description

Mountain View Country Club is an Arnold Palmer Signature course community in La Quinta that exists because The Citrus never got its second eighteen. The site across Jefferson Street was drawn as a Dye extension, complete with a golf-cart tunnel. The join did not happen. Toll Brothers bought the land and opened a private club and housing campus in 2003, Spanish Colonial in the La Quinta manner, Palmer on the grass, Santa Rosa on the horizon. Market summaries describe about 365 acres and a few hundred residences, including named single-family collections and some condominium product. Treat those counts as market figures until the association packet says otherwise.

Palmer's Signature, 2003

The 18-hole Palmer Signature Course is the centerpiece, designed to play to a wide range of handicaps without losing desert scenery, lakes, and mountain walls. Official pages also highlight pickleball, tennis, a fitness complex, a driving range and putting green, and a clubhouse built for everyday dining. Practice details and scorecard yardages should be confirmed with the Golf Shop when a specific comparison matters. Social and golf paths are typically discussed for this community in market practice. Some summaries describe a membership cap and mandatory social or golf with ownership. That is exactly the kind of claim to verify in the current membership office and the CC&Rs, because "mandatory" is a budget line, not a slogan. Initiation and dues are not reprinted here.

Camina, Belize, Ventana

Named plans such as Camina, Belize, and Ventana appear in MLS marketing. Broker pages describe Spanish-influenced houses with courtyard entries, covered patios, and views to golf, lake, or mountain, with published size bands running from about 2,000 square feet into the mid-4,000s for larger plans. The club does not publish a public floor-plan PDF pack. Square footage, lot size, and HOA rules belong in listing documents. HOA descriptions in the market often bundle social membership, front-yard landscape, and communications utilities. Read the current budget. Construction ran through the 2000s, which makes Mountain View a newer-era La Quinta product than LQCC or the original cove casitas, and a different legal animal from PGA WEST next door.

Jefferson Street geography

The unused Citrus tunnel is the best way to remember the map. You are not in The Citrus. You are not in PGA WEST. You are in a Toll Brothers Palmer club on the east side of Jefferson, a short drive to Old Town and a different membership conversation from Mandarina. Tradition, Hideaway, and Andalusia sit in the wider cove as other Palmer, Dye, and Jones addresses; Mountain View is the 2003 Toll chapter, not the 1920s hotel chapter. If golf membership is waitlisted or capped, the house still has to work as a house; do not overpay for a fairway that a category cannot reach. That is the same advice as at Toscana or Indian Ridge, applied to a Toll Brothers Palmer street.

Verify whether social is mandatory. Then walk Palmer's holes. Norman Williams and Jacqulyn Stanton of The Stanton Williams Group at Compass work with buyers and sellers at Mountain View Country Club. Reach Norman at 760.464.2190 or Jacqulyn at 760.702.2557.
