Andalusia Country Club occupies more than 525 acres at the base of the Santa Rosa and Coral Mountains in south La Quinta. Sunrise Company developed and manages the private resort community, which centers on an 18-hole Rees Jones championship course, contemporary homes and villas, and a Sports Club membership that comes with ownership.
The club publishes the layout at 7,521 yards, par 72, with six regular tees plus a forward set at 5,489 yards. Fairways are deliberately wide. Nine lakes, three waterfalls, and more than 80,000 plants, flowers, olive trees, and palms sit against the mountains. Members can walk on; the club states that tee times are not required. The golf clubhouse includes ladies' and men's lounges and locker rooms, the Rees Jones Terrace, and Tapas Restaurant for casual indoor and outdoor dining.
Andalusia markets new collections that pair Spanish-inspired exteriors with contemporary interiors and deep lots sized for private pools and covered patios. Customization is part of the sales pitch, including solar and other energy features on new homes. Golf-course villas sit throughout and along the perimeter of the course. Exact home counts change as phases sell; use the club's current inventory rather than a fixed community total when you underwrite a specific address.
Sports Club membership is a homeowner benefit paid through the HOA. The club's January 2026 resident brochure lists Sports Club monthly dues at $563, included in monthly HOA dues, with no separate Sports initiation. Golf is optional. For 2026, Resident Golf non-refundable initiation is $60,000 ($50,000 with the Premier Program), with monthly golf dues of $2,240. Premier and Young Professional golf programs offer time-limited entry paths with published premier fees. Andalusia does not charge a food and beverage minimum. Fees change; confirm in writing with the club before you lock budget assumptions.
Beyond golf, the club lists a renovated fitness center and studio, a 25-meter resort pool with spa and children's wading pool, two bocce courts, eight dedicated pickleball courts, and seven tennis courts including a stadium court and three clay courts. Social programming runs from pickleball mixers and tennis tournaments to wine tastings and theme parties. The address published on the membership brochure is 59195 Marbella, La Quinta, CA 92253.
